Imagine celebrating the holiday season surrounded by the magic of Disney and the beauty of the sea. This is exactly what our first Disney cruise experience entailed. My mom, my daughter and I, set sail on the Disney Dream's Very Merrytime cruise on November 14th 2024, and what an unforgettable holiday adventure it was. The blend of festive fun with Disney's enchantment was truly something that I wish every child could experience.
From the moment you step on board, you are enamored by the ship being decked out in holiday cheer, with twinkling lights, garlands, and who could forget the massive Christmas tree that would later be lit ip during the tree lighting ceremony. The crew welcomes you on board by clapping and calling out your family by name, and you immediately felt like you are are home. The festivity continued, we met Santa and Mrs. Claus, read books, listened to live Christmas music in the atrium, and had a night cap of hot chocolate and cookies.
Of course our trip wouldn't have been complete without world class entertainment at the nightly shows, and meeting characters and princesses around every corner. Aspen attended the Royal Gathering dressed in her Belle dress, and was able to meet Jasmine, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Belle. We still partook in the all famous Pirate Night, and met Captain Hook and Jack Sparrow, Aspen was a little shy.
Sailing on the Disney Dream was more then a vacation, it was a chance to create a lasting holiday memory that got us hooked on Disney Cruise line. Whether you're traveling as a family or indulging in your inner Disney Fan, this holiday voyage is sure to warm your heart.
